Bio

Alec is an up-and-coming comedian who is making her mark by joking about her unique experiences with her background in paleontology and more. She is quickly becoming well known in DC, making people laugh with her outgoing and kind personality. She is remembered for having smart jokes and keeping a room engaged. Alec runs her own late night comedy show in DC called X Marks the Spot and she is the COO of Capital Laughs. Alec has performed at clubs around the DMV and NYC. She is a regular at the Port Comedy club, the DC Comedy Loft, Capital Laughs and has performed at the Philadelphia Comedy Festival.

Background

Alec holds a degree in Paleontology and was a volleyball player at Appalachian State University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in museum studies at The George Washington University.

She began her journey in comedy by enrolling in two writing classes with Second City.and attending a Stand-Up Class with ASAP. She has taken an Improv Class at DC Improv. After starting her performance journey at open mics in Raleigh and Boone, NC, she is now making her mark in the DMV comedy scene.
